What's for Lunch?

The images below depict the portion sizes and food items offered on each lunch tray at the different grade levels. All schools (k-12) offer a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables daily but options may vary from school to school. 

School Lunch Meal Guidelines
The school lunch meal consist of five meal components (Meat, Grain, Fruit, Vegetable & Milk)
Students must take at least 3 of the five meal components.
Students also must take at least 1/2 cup fruit or vegetable daily.
Students may take all menu meal components.

* Elementary and middle school students may take one 1/2 cup fruit and two 1/2 cups vegetables daily.
* High school students may take up to two 1/2 cups fruit and two 1/2 cups vegetables daily.

BBQ Chicken Strips
All white meat, grilled chicken strips served in our sweet n' tangy homemade BBQ sauce. Served with a side of creamy au gratin potatoes.
Chicken Bites with Fiesta Bean Salad
Whole muscle, all breast meat chicken bites that have taken the place of processed chicken nuggets. Accompanied by a Fiesta Bean Salad containing three types of beans, bell peppers and onions marinated in a sweet homemade dressing.
Chicken Bruschetta Pasta
Whole grain penne pasta tossed with garlic, olive oil, fresh basil, diced tomatoes, chicken, parmesan cheese and balsamic vinegar. Served with steamed broccoli florets finished with a homemade jalapeno honey butter sauce.
Chili, Chips and Cheese
Our homemade savory chili topped with cheddar cheese laid over a bed of Frito Corn Chips served with fresh cherry tomatoes or a vegetable combination of sugar snap peas, carrots, bell peppers, and celery accompanied with a side of our homemade low-fat ranch dressing.
Citrus Herb Baked Tilapia
A fresh Tilapia filet sprinkled with a sweet lemon, basil, thyme seasoning and parmesan cheese
Beef & lamb gyro meat served on warm flatbread with Greek tzatziki sauce made with fresh cucumbers and an array of fresh seasonings. Gyros are accompanied with roasted baby baker potatoes tossed in Mrs. Dash seasoning and fresh cucumber slices or cherry tomatoes with a homemade ranch dip.
Italian Pasta Bake
Radiator pasta layered with savory spaghetti sauce, cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese. Served with broccoli florets tossed in olive oil and grated parmesan cheese.
Pita Bread Pizza
Pita bread topped with pizza sauce, fresh chopped basil, shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese. Served with roasted red pepper hummus and a fresh vegetable variety of carrots, celery, cherry tomatoes, sugar snap peas and jicama.
Polynesian Pork Flatbread
Shredded pork carnita meat tossed in a light teriyaki sauce served over warm flatbread. Pork is topped with roasted red peppers, pineapple and a homemade garlic aioli sauce
Pot Roast
Oven roasted fork-tender pot roast served over egg noodles. Accompanied by a fresh cut romaine lettuce salad with a homemade ranch dressing using fat free buttermilk, seasonings and mayonnaise.
Teriyaki Chicken
Tender chicken strips caramelized with a sweet teriyaki sauce served with a fortune cookie and a bed of vegetable fried rice (whole grain).
